Delete your account

Deletion is permanent after you securely confirm it. When secure deletion self-service is enabled, this page lets you begin without already being signed in, but it never deletes an account by email alone.

Account deletion status

Secure account deletion is not yet available. Do not submit a deletion request here until it is enabled. This page does not create, queue, or process a deletion request while the feature is unavailable.

When deletion is enabled

  1. You will continue to secure sign-in and authenticate with the account you want to delete.
  2. You will return to the authenticated Delete Account screen and review the deletion details.
  3. You will re-authenticate if the server requires a recent sign-in, then type DELETE exactly and confirm. This prevents accidental or unauthorized deletion.
  4. The enabled service will process the confirmed request and sign you out after completion. A documented legal hold can pause deletion of affected data until the hold ends.

Data deleted or anonymized

When deletion is enabled and no retention obligation applies, the deletion workflow deletes or anonymizes account authentication identity and profile/contact information; saved items and My Journey progress; applications and connection requests; Market and Services submissions; uploaded images, files, and media; preferences and language settings; notification tokens; user-created content; and analytics identifiers reasonably associated with the account. It also instructs applicable processors to delete or anonymize corresponding records as required by that workflow.

Approved retention policy when deletion is enabled

Ordinary operational records — no more than 30 days

Limited records needed to complete the deletion workflow or resolve a technical processing failure are retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymized.

Required transaction and accounting records — 7 years

Completed transaction, tax, accounting, chargeback, and dispute records may be retained for 7 years where required. Unnecessary personal identifiers are removed or minimized where feasible.

Security and abuse-prevention records — 12 months

Limited security, fraud, abuse, and access-protection records may be retained for 12 months to protect users and services.

Minimal deletion audit — 12 months

A minimal, non-sensitive audit record of the request status and timestamps may be retained for 12 months. It is not a copy of your deleted profile or submission content.

Documented legal holds

A documented legal hold overrides these deletion timelines only for the data covered by that hold. We retain only what is necessary until the hold is released.
